● Open resources / SpectraWorks
Tools and reference data we maintain, open to anyone.
Measurements from space are only as good as the references behind them: instrumented ground sites, inter-calibration corrections, and a record of which instrument flies where. SpectraWorks maintains two open resources built on that ground. Both are free to use and openly licensed.
§ 01
What we maintain
One is software, one is a reference directory. Each has its own page with what it covers, who it is for and how to use it.
spectrAccess
An open-source Python client that finds, downloads and parses spectral and atmospheric reference data into pandas tables, with a shared per-value uncertainty schema for some sources.

EO-Atlas
A reference directory of the satellite and Earth observation supply chain: instruments, missions, data products, ground segment, launch services and standards. Compiled from public sources.

§ 02
Why they are open
A reference is only useful if others can check it. Keeping these open means anyone can inspect how the data is fetched and where each entry came from, cite it, and build on it without asking us first.
